"WE LIVE WITH OPPORTUNITY - THE TRICK IS TO FIND IT!"
The business challenge of 2008

More than two thirds of CEO's of global chief executives at the Davos world business summit said their time was best spent in dealing with people issues. Talent was one of the 5 major issues along with climate change; regulation; short term growth and takeovers. Well you might say "There is nothing new in that". However with the current economic concerns both here and internationally, my belief is that for the smart business person there will be a lot that is new. During 2008 it will be the quality of your people that will make the difference. Let me give you some examples: - ......... read more >>

The thing I love about this time of year is the sense of completion, the looking back on the year that has gone and the sense of excitement about the opportunities in the year ahead. I sense that 2007 is a year that we will look back on as one that was a toughie. I know that the managers that we talk with are facing challenges like they have never faced before. I can almost hear you say and no doubt this ......... read more >>

Welcome to our innovative thinking blog.

Sydney has to be one of my favourite cities in the world. It has such a great energy and generally such wonderful weather. However in September when I was over for interviews it rained all of the time and it was quite amusing to see people get so excited about rain. Still we don't have the water problems they have!!! Most recently, I was over there for the Lominger Conference and it is 25 degree beautiful spring weather. So it was quite wonderful. Lominger is a highly recognised leadership development company that has developed an outstanding range of tools for individuals, teams and ......... read more >>
